Our family are campers!

Not the backpaking, carrying a pup tent & a foamy type, nor the type that settles in each night in a 1/2 million dollar motorhome, but rather a family who relishes the beauty of our great outdoors, but as a family, and with some of the comforts of home.

These comforts need only be pretty basic for us.

As we live less than an hours drive from the some of the most scenic country imaginable, the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, it was a pretty easy decision to figure out that we needed to be equipped for last minute overnight or weekend trips, so we could enjoy the hiking and scenery the foothills back country "Out West" has to offer.

We decided that the perfect accomodation for us wold be some type of Luxury Family Tent and went hunting on the Internet to get an idea of what we should be looking for before we hit the shops. We've found having a good idea of what type of camping tent we were after helps eliminate a lot of confusion in the store, as in your mind you have whittled the choices down to a general category, it's now just down to selecting the right tent model.

Luckily, when perusing the interent we found a great website where there was a review of a particular model that had caught our eye, the Eureka Titan Luxury Family Tent, and it gave us the confidence to actually buy it online, (our very first online purchase).

We've had the Eurka Tent for a couple of years now, and use it almost every weekend in our short summer, and all the time exploring our wonderful "West Country". Some people feel the need to travel huge distances to get to their camping spot, we choose to simply enjoy outdoor living virtually in our own backyard.!
